Ali Al Bana

Born in 1996, in The Kingdom of Bahrain, Ali Salah Al Bana is a Fine Arts student at the University of Bahrain. Al Bana’s work frequently depicts innate emotional ideas and often elaborates on societal issues that primarily talk about identity.

Based on his previous internships and positions as a stylist and design assistant within the fashion industry in the region, his work is a compilation of juxtaposed visual elements that are put together. Be it through archive images from the 90’s or images of his grandmother in Iran, Al Bana finds a meeting point for fashion, history, theatre, and the progression of thought through anatomical figures, collage, and various other mediums.
